Calbar... thanks for the version #. The link to the mentioned build (fix for HIBERNATE/SLEEP problem) is near the end of this thread...
http://horizondatasys-forum.com/roll...-function.html It's a HOTfile link. I haven't tried it yet due to my current hiking/camping vacay with the grandkids in the Colorado mountains but should be back in the neighborhood late on the 16th. Will give it a try on the 17th. Thanks again fir all your help! |

Cool, thanks! I think I'm going to hold off on testing this while what I have is working - I really need my computer to be in operating condition for the next couple weeks.
If you feel like it, report back if you give it a try - I'd be interested to see if it solves your problems. Have fun on your trip! |

Well the August dust has settled and I finally got a chance to put up Build #26855237646 (the one referenced as a fix for the SLEEP problem). This build not only eliminated the problems I've seen during my SLEEP and HIBERNATE testing but it also eliminated the 1-min. periodic DEFRAGGING that was killing my system earlier. It now seems to defrag snapshots about once every coupla hours... definitely not a nuisance any longer.
At the moment I'm pretty happy... |
