Default Problems With Rollback RX And Win7 64 bit

I recently purchased a new HP computer with Win 7 64 bit. I installed Rollback RX. It's working fine, but the GUI does not render very good on this new computer. As a matter of fact, it's down right awful.

For one thing, in Program Settings>Advance Settings>Keep these files and folders unchanged......, I can barely see the box to click on to open the window to pick what files I want to keep.

In the Network Settings tab, at the bottom where it has a Test tab, I can hardly see anything below the Test tab.

The Maximize/Restore Down button doesn't work.

It's difficult to read anything in the main GUI, and in the Snapshot History.

I didn't have this problem with XP. Does anyone else have a problem with Win7 64 bit? Is there something I need to do?

Hi Graystoke,

Please submit a ticket to support at http://support.horizondatasys.com and let's see if we can get an answer here as well.

Best,

I have Win 7-64 and have no issues. I use EAZ-FIX. Shouldn't be much difference though. You might want to try that also (uses same key as Rollback RX). Might want to post a pic. Your not skinning the OS are you?

Hi Masterblaster. No, not skinning the OS. Maybe I'll give EAZ-FIX a try just to see if there's a difference.

Here are a couple of screen shots. Here are a couple of screen shots. As you can see, some of the texts are cut off.

I received a reply from Horizon's this morning. They suggested I make sure that the DPI setting was set to the default 96. I was pretty sure it was, but checked to make sure. When I checked, I noticed that the Use Windows XP Style DPI Scaling was checked. I guess I put the check in the box, although I don't remember doing it. I removed the check, and now the text in the Rollback RX GUI is readable again.

Thanks Masterblaster and HDS-Jacob for helping me with this.
