Default Encryption options with Rollback on XP

Sadly I am required to have extensive encryption as of 1/1/2010 and have XP Pro SP3. I had hoped to avoid having to upgrade to Win 7 for awhile.

I note Bitlocker works with Rollback but has to use Vista or Win7

I realize painfully the MBR problem but I love Rollback and don't want to have to give it up!

Is there any similar encryption software that will work with Rollback on XP?

Approved software includes:

PGP® Whole Disk Encryption
SecurStar DriveCrypt Plus Pack
TrueCrypt (open-source*) Pre-authentication Version
Utimaco® SafeGuard® Easy
Windows Vista® Ultimate BitLocker™

Truth be told - RollBack Rx snapshots are encrypted. In many cases, our corporate clients use RollBack Rx for this reason as well. If you had installed RollBack Rx onto your PC about 6 months ago... and continued to take regular snapshots etc.. If anyone where to remove your hard drive and place it into another PC as a slave drive and tried to access your files; they would only be able to see the files that existed 6 months ago. That is, they would only be able to see the files that existed on your original PC, before RollBack Rx was installed.

All of the other files and folder contained within the other snapshot maps are not visible... Knowing this many of our clients choose not to use a third party encryption utility.

Let me know if this information helps you out.

Unfortunately I am in the securities industry and have to have the current computer encrypted and secure even though I have no client private information or SS info on it.

So hypothetically, I install Rollback Rx 6mo ago and the base line only contained the default Windows OS (fresh install), I then install all my apps I intend to use, and then create another snapshot called Post-baseline. So there after any thing I do (including the apps in the Post-baseline snapshot) is completely encrypted? Of course I am assuming that I need to setup Rollback Rx with the appropriate settings, basically boot time password.

If that is the case then sweet. Then all I need to do is on any other drive not protected by Rollback Rx is either do a whole drive encryption, whole partition encryption, or just use file containers!
