When you uninstall RollBack, it asks which snapshot you want it to restore to when it takes itself off the system. If the snapshot "Current Snapshot" was older than the files you had downloaded and worked on, that would account for why they disappeared - the snapshot you used did not contain those files. The same would go for the snapshot "Installation" because it would roll your system back to a state before you had downloaded or worked on the files.

The advice given in several threads in this section of the forum, is that to keep your system in the exact condition it is at that moment you are about to uninstall RollBack, is to manually take a Snapshot. Then you should use that newly created Snapshot, containing all your current files, as the uninstall Snapshot when asked by RollBack.

If you found the "Snapshot Scavenger" application from this Knowledge Base article: http://support.horizondatasys.com/ic...sp?deptID=4443

It states, "We have a Utility that will attempt to recover data from snapshots for you - but it is not guaranteed to work."
