Hi
I am setting up a small network of laptops to be used in a youth cafe, with Drive Vaccine to restore them to a baseline each day. I want to use RMC with the RMS running on our network server and the RMC on my own workstation (as per the instruction in chap 2 of the RMC guide). However, when I come to install the RMC I don't get the option of installing server, console or both in the way the manual describes. Can you shed any light on this please? Thanks, Paul |

The first step - You would need to set up the RMC and the Administrative module onto a PC that will be acting as the server. These are two separate components however they can be installed onto the same PC or two separate PC's based on your network setup. If you are looking to use the RMC over the internet or WAN you will want to install the server component outside of your LAN firewall so that its IP address can be seen by both the client PC's and the administrative console.
Once you have the Administrative console and the Server modules installed, You can install the client installations using the custom install option and then select the RMC option. You will need to provide a static IP address of the server colsole during the client installation. Other than this the setup is quite simple. If you need further instructions, and you are a customer - you should submit a support ticket at http://support.horizondatasys.com and a technician could help you out with more finer details etc.
