Firstly, Yes - Drive Vaccine will support Windows 7 64 bit. In fact, the current build should not have any issues with Windows 7; however, we will be introducing a new version once Windows 7 is commercially released.
The reason for your MBR Failed is completely unrelated Drive Vaccines' supporting Windows 7....
Drive Vaccine protects the entire root drive (0). The Master Boot Record is the very first sector of your root drive, and is the very last sector that is written too during the Drive Vaccine installation.
All disk imaging, encryption, Multi-boot OS and products such as Goback, Ghost, etc. - NEED to take ownership of this very first sector, as the MBR controls the primary partition table and Bootstaps the OS after the BIOS has passed initilization... In simple terms - once the Machine's BIOS passes its basic hardware check - it needs to load a program (OS). It is here where the MBR is looked upon to find out what needs to load first and in what order.
It seems that you may have a drive imaging product or some other security (AV) that may be protecting your MBR - and therefore, Drive Vaccine is unable to update the MBR during the installation. You should uninstall or disable any security or disk encryption/imaging software from your PC and then try to re-install Drive Vaccine.
